The Catamaran has three different environments for your enjoyment: the main lounge with air conditioning, bar section and dressing rooms; another area is the bow with a wonderful view of all the landscapes where we will navigate; and, our upper deck, conditioned area for your rest; in which, you can enjoy a large jacuzzi.
Departures are scheduled or can be on request with a minimum of 25 people.
We have 3 packages:
- Package #1: includes the beach lounger
- Package #2: includes beach lounge and 5 drinks per person (beers and national liquors)
- Package #3: includes beach lounge + banana boat + snorkel
In addition to the package you choose, you will have included:
- Transportation from San José round trip with connection to other points. If required from other points, please check availability.
- Bilingual guides
- Snack-type breakfast served on the bus.
- Maritime transport aboard our boats: CATAMARAN “THE GREAT BAY’S PRINCESS” and/or “BAY ́S PRINCESS”. Duration of one hour and thirty minutes, sailing through the Gulf of Nicoya, observing exuberant landscapes.
- Coffee and cookies in the morning (on the boat)
- On the way to the island we will serve you with: tropical fruits and fish ceviche.
- Unlimited natural drinks throughout the tour.
- 3 soft drinks
- Lunch on the island (the menu was prepared with your health and nutrition in mind, with salad and main course options to choose from). If you require a special menu due to a medical condition, please inform us at the time of booking.
- On the way back to Puntarenas, we will offer you a dessert and tropical fruits.
- DJ music and entertainment throughout the tour.
- Beach umbrella not included, yes the lounge chair.
- Guaranteed 5 hours of stay on the Island.
- Entertainment: During the stay on the beach, you can play beach volleyball; which is included in the package.
- If you did not purchase package #3, you can enjoy, if you wish, extra activities: snorkeling, banana, among others.
- Happy Hour: 2 for 1 in Rum Punch cocktail (service with extra charge; offered for one hour on the way back to the pier in Puntarenas).

- 05:30 - 06:00 am: Passengers are picked up in San José
- 07:30 a.m.: Arrival in Puntarenas
- 09:45 am: Arrival at Isla Tortuga
- 1:00 p.m.: Lunch on the island
- 14:45 Departure from Tortuga Island
- 16:30 Arrival in Puntarenas
- 18:30: Arrival in San José
The schedule to request reservations is from Monday to Friday: 08:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 pm.
Once the payment has been completed on the platform for the purchase of the package, a representative of Descubramos Juntos Costa Rica will contact you to manage the reservation or you can contact directly at descubramosjuntoscr@gmail.com or 8362-0220 to process your reservation.

- In case of cancellation, you must request it no later than 72 hours before, so that the refund is 100%, otherwise there will be no refund.
- No show: There is no refund.
- In case of having to cancel the tour due to bad weather or any cause beyond our control, it will be rescheduled. NO refunds will be made.
- A group of 10 people or more is considered (different cancellation policies apply).
- For all reservations, the following information will be requested: name of the people, pick-up, date of the tour, if they leave San José, or if they arrive at the pier.
