Pocosol Station - Children's Eternal Rainforest

If you are lovers of hiking and bird watching, we have the ideal place for you. You can also enjoy a natural lagoon, dozens of small streams, views of a spectacular waterfall and even fumaroles.

We offer you:

• Trails open to the public daily between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM
• Lunch option for day visitors with prior reservation
• Field station (shelter) open to the public with prior reservation. The nightly rate includes lodging, delicious food, and trail use!
• 10 km of trails of different levels of difficulty, through a spectacular forest, towards a natural lagoon, a waterfall viewpoint and fumaroles
• Magnificent view of the Peñas Blancas Valley
• Rooms with cabins or double bed, private bathroom
• Electricity, hot water, limited internet. No phone signal
• Guide service available with prior reservation (day and/or night walk)

Access: Only four-wheel drive vehicle. Along the route of La Altura de Peñas Blancas. There is no passage through San Miguel de La Tigra

Recommendations: We recommend wearing rubber boots, long pants, a jacket or raincoat, and a bottle of water.
